Job Description Conduct thorough inspections of various types of lifting equipment including cranes, hoists, and rigging in accordance with LOLER & PUWER Identify and document equipment defects, malfunctions and safety concerns Provide recommendations for repairs, replacements or maintenance activities based on inspection findings Maintain accurate and detailed inspection reports for compliance purposes Collaborate to ensure timely resolution of identified issues Service, Repair & Inspect Lifting Equipment on customer sites & the companies workshop Complete necessary paperwork in line with the companies set procedures Adhering to Quality, Health, Safety and Environment regulations to ensure accurate and effective inspections Experience & Qualifications Experience of carrying out Lifting Equipment inspections on items including Chains, Slings, Shackles, Manual/Powered Hoists, Lifting Beams, Runway Beams plus various other forms for Lifting & Handling Equipment LEEA Qualifications, or time served in relevant industry Good knowledge of inspection techniques applicable to Lifting Equipment A good understanding of the fundamentals of general engineering required Good understanding of method statement and risk assessments Full UK Driving Licence Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills Organisation Commitment to workplace safety and compliance Job Type: Full-time Pay: From £35,000.00 per year Benefits: Company car Company pension Free parking On-site parking Schedule: Monday to Friday Night shift Weekend availability Licence/Certification: LEEA Thorough Examination Qualification (required) TPBN1_UKTJ
