About the job Weekend Cleaning Operative
We are looking to recruit a Cleaning Operative for one of our static sites in South Woodham Ferrers, Chelmsford, CM3.
- Saturday & Sunday
- Working hours flexible – to be discussed at interview
- £13.67 per hour
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience in cleaning environment is essential
- IT literate (use of tablet, smart phone apps)
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written (English)
Core Responsibilities:
- Dust, damp wipe or wash walls, skirting boards, hand rails, ledges, window sills, radiators, lifts, doors and frames
- Sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops.
- Mopping floors with wet or damp mops.
- Hovering of carpeted areas.
- Emptying waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated collection points.
- Mix cleaning supplies in the correct quantities for safe use.
- Replenish consumable items e.g. soap, toilet rolls, paper towels (if contractual).
- Clean kitchens, toilets, urinals, hand basins and sinks
