Job Title: School Cleaner

We are seeking a School Cleaner to join one of Nexgen\’s School / Academy partners in the Ilford, IG6 area.

Details:

• Hourly Rate: £12.22
• Working Hours: 3pm – 5:30pm (12.5 hours per week)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday

Core Responsibilities:

• Dust, damp wipe or wash walls, skirting boards, hand rails, ledges, window sills, radiators, lifts, doors and frames
• Sweep floors with brushes or dust control mops
• Mop floors with wet or damp mops
• Vacuum carpeted areas
• Empty waste bins and transport waste to collection points
• Mix cleaning supplies in correct quantities for safe use
• Replenish consumables such as soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels
• Clean kitchens, toilets, urinals, hand basins, and sinks

Candidate Requirements:

• Prior professional cleaning experience
• IT literacy (use of tablets and smartphone apps)
• Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
