We are looking to recruit a Cleaning Operative for one of our static sites in Kings Lynn, PE30. The working hours are Monday, Tuesday & Sunday: 3 hours per day on Monday & Tuesday, and 2 hours on a Sunday (8 hours per week). The pay is £12.21 per hour on Monday & Tuesday, and £13.67 per hour on Sundays.
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience in a cleaning environment is essential
- IT literate (use of tablet, smart phone apps)
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written (English)
Core Responsibilities - Cleaning Operative / Cleaner:
- Dust, damp wipe or wash walls, skirting boards, hand rails, ledges, window sills, radiators, lifts, doors and frames
- Sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops
- Mopping floors with wet or damp mops
- Hoovering of carpeted areas
- Emptying waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated collection points
- Mix cleaning supplies in the correct quantities for safe use
- Replenish consumable items e.g. soap, toilet rolls, paper towels (if contractual)
- Clean kitchens, toilets, urinals, hand basins and sinks
