We are looking to recruit a School Cleaner for one of Nexgen's School / Academy partners in Bexley, DA5. This is a part-time, permanent position to professionally clean their premises. Monday - Friday Starting between 3 - 4:30pm, finishing between 6 - 7:30pm £12.21 per hour.

Core Responsibilities - Cleaning Operative / Cleaner:

  • Dust, damp wipe or wash walls, skirting boards, hand rails, ledges, window sills, radiators, lifts, doors and frames
  • Sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops
  • Mopping floors with wet or damp mops
  • Hoovering of carpeted areas
  • Emptying waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated collection points
  • Mix cleaning supplies in the correct quantities for safe use
  • Replenish consumable items e.g. soap, toilet rolls, paper towels
  • Clean kitchens, toilets, urinals, hand basins and sinks

What are we looking for?

  • Prior professional Cleaning experience
  • IT literate (use of tablet, smart phone apps)
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written (English)
  • Willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
