Cleaning Operative

We are looking to recruit a Cleaning Operative for one of our static sites in Leighton Buzzard, LU7.

  • Monday to Sunday
  • 1 hour per day, 7 hours per week
  • Shifts to be discussed at interview (Flexible)
  • £12.21 per hour Mon - Fri, £13.67 per hour Sat & Sun

What are we looking for?

  • Previous experience in cleaning environment is essential
  • IT literate (use of tablet, smart phone apps)
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written (English)

Core Responsibilities - Cleaning Operative / Cleaner:

  • Dust, damp wipe or wash walls, skirting boards, hand rails, ledges, window sills, radiators, lifts, doors and frames
  • Sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops
  • Mopping floors with wet or damp mops
  • Hoovering of carpeted areas
  • Emptying waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated collection points
  • Mix cleaning supplies in the correct quantities for safe use
  • Replenish consumable items. soap, toilet rolls, paper towels (if contractual)
  • Clean kitchens, toilets, urinals, hand basins and sinks
