Cleaning Operative
We are looking to recruit a Cleaning Operative for one of our static sites in Berkhamsted, HP4.
Monday to Sunday
1 hour per day, 7 hours per week
Shifts to be discussed at interview (Flexible)
£12.21 per hour Mon – Fri, £12.90 per hour Sat & Sun
What are we looking for?
Previous experience in cleaning environment is essential
IT literate (use of tablet, smart phone apps)
Good communication skills, both verbal and written (English)
Core Responsibilities – Cleaning Operative / Cleaner:
Dust, damp wipe or wash walls, skirting boards, hand rails, ledges, window sills, radiators, lifts, doors and frames
Sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops
Mopping floors with wet or damp mops
Hoovering of carpeted areas
Emptying waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated collection points
Mix cleaning supplies in the correct quantities for safe use
Replenish consumable items . soap, toilet rolls, paper towels (if contractual)
Clean kitchens, toilets, urinals, hand basins and sinks
