About the Role

Our client are a well established subcontract machining specialist seeking an experienced 5-Axis CNC Setter/Operator to join our skilled team. This day shift role offers the opportunity to work with modern equipment on a diverse range of production work.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and operate 3 and 5-axis CNC machining centres
• Work from technical drawings to produce precision components to tight tolerances
• Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and work-holding solutions
• Maintain machines to ensure optimal performance and housekeeping standards
• Work efficiently to meet production schedules while maintaining quality
• Troubleshoot machining issues promptly to minimise downtime and support smooth workflow across production

What We\’re Looking For

• Experience setting and operating 5-axis machines
• Experience working with aerospace parts working to ISO9001 standards
• Strong attention to detail with a quality-focused approach
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and committed with good timekeeping
