CNC Setter/Operator

About the Role Our client are a well established subcontract machining specialist seeking an experienced 5-Axis CNC Setter/Operator to join our skilled team. This day shift role offers the opportunity to work with modern equipment on a diverse range of production work. Key Responsibilities * Set and operate 3 and 5-axis CNC machining centres * Work from technical drawings to produce precision components to tight tolerances * Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and work-holding solutions * Maintain machines to ensure optimal performance and housekeeping standards * Work efficiently to meet production schedules while maintaining quality * Troubleshoot machining issues promptly to minimise downtime and support smooth workflow across production What We\’re Looking For * Experience setting and operating 5-axis machines * Experience working with aerospace parts working to ISO9001 standards * Strong attention to detail with a quality-focused approach * Able to work independently and as part of a team * Reliable and committed with good timekeeping What We Offer * Day shifts only * Working towards AS9100 certification * Modern, well-maintained equipment * Varied and interesting production work across different sectors * Opportunity to work on a wide range of components and projects * Supportive team environment If you feel you are the right candidate for the role, apply now
