Arden White is working with a powertrain engineering business and looking for an experienced CNC Grinder to join the team. If you know your way around grinding machines and have a passion for all things engineering, we would love to hear from you.
What will I be doing?
- Set and operate department Grinding machines manufacturing engine components
- TPM checks
- Ensure that information is transferred between shifts and team members as required.
What will I need?
- Time served Beneficial but not essential
- Knowledge of Grinding essential
- Knowledge of Cam & Crank manufacturing advantageous
- Knowledge of CNC Grinding Machines such as Junker & Kellenburger
- Ability to Set and Operate Manual Grinding Machines (Cylindrical & Surface)
- Ability to problem solve and see errors in NC code
- Demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of work holding methods, tool selection, cutting tool parameters, and manual machining techniques.
