NexGen Cloud is the company behind Hyperstack, a full-stack AI cloud serving tens of thousands of customers from AI researchers to enterprises running the world's most compute-intensive workloads. We deliver on-demand and private GPU infrastructure to teams who treat performance as a requirement, not a feature. We're a tight-knit, fast-moving team working at the cutting edge of AI cloud infrastructure. We practice what we preach, equipping our people with AI at every level so we can solve harder problems, ship faster, and keep raising the bar for what enterprise GPU infrastructure looks like.
This role exists because as the CPTO's function scales, the need for a highly capable operator at the centre of Product & Engineering becomes critical. You'll have direct ownership over the CPTO's time, priorities, and operational cadence — and real responsibility for keeping the organisation aligned and moving. This is a role for someone who runs toward complexity, takes ownership instinctively, and gets satisfaction from keeping high-stakes operations running smoothly behind the scenes.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Act as a trusted right-hand partner to the CPTO — managing priorities, protecting time, and ensuring focus lands on the highest-impact work
- Own communications and stakeholder management on behalf of the CPTO — fielding inbound, routing decisions, and drafting clear output across Slack, email, and documentation
- Drive operational cadence across Product & Engineering — owning planning rhythms, exec forums, action tracking, and cross-functional coordination
- Prepare the CPTO for every engagement — right context, right materials, right framing; never walking in cold
- Identify gaps, remove blockers, and introduce lightweight structure where execution is losing momentum
- Own or support special projects end-to-end — bringing structure to ambiguity and keeping deliverables on track
ABOUT YOU:
We're more interested in how you think and work than in a perfect CV. You'll likely bring a combination of the following:
- 4+ years as an EA, PA, Chief of Staff, or Operations Manager in a genuinely fast-moving environment
- Strong bias for action — moves things forward without waiting for perfect clarity or instruction
- Able to hold senior stakeholders accountable and challenge requests that don't align with priorities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills — clear, direct, and appropriate for every audience
- Strong judgment — knows when to elevate, when to handle, and when to push back
- Confident with tools like Slack, Google Workspace, Notion, Jira, and Linear
Nice to Have:
- Background supporting a CTO, CPO, or technical leadership team
- Experience in a tech scale-up, cloud infrastructure, or AI-adjacent business
- Comfortable working across multiple time zones and with distributed international teams
WHAT WE OFFER:
- Competitive salary and annual discretionary bonus scheme
- 25 days of holiday, plus public holidays
- Flexible working arrangements (remote or hybrid, depending on role and location)
- Real ownership and autonomy, with the trust to take initiative and experiment
- The opportunity to make a visible, meaningful impact as we scale
- Clear career progression and growth opportunities in a fast-growing company
- A collaborative, international culture built on trust, transparency, and ownership
- The chance to help shape NexGen Cloud's team, culture, and future alongside ambitious, mission-driven colleagues
