Our client is a highly regarded SME consultancy specialising in Defence, Government and IT transformation programmes. Known for delivering expert consultancy services across complex and mission-critical environments, they are continuing to grow their project delivery capability and are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team.
This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile programmes within the Home Office and wider government sector, supporting the successful delivery of business and technology transformation initiatives.
We are looking for an accomplished Project Manager with a strong background in PMO and P3M disciplines. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered effectively through robust governance, planning, reporting, risk management and stakeholder engagement. You will work closely with programme teams, senior stakeholders and client organisations to support the delivery of strategic objectives across a variety of project environments.
Essential Requirements- Minimum of 10 years' Project Management experience
- Strong PMO and P3M experience within complex programme environments
- Previous Home Office experience is essential
- Experience delivering projects within government or secure environments
- Excellent governance, reporting, planning and project controls expertise
- Budget management and financial experience
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Active SC or DV Security Clearance
- Hold a PRINCE2 or APM qualification or relevant qualifications
- Defence sector experience
- Consultancy experience
- Business change, digital transformation, technology or operational delivery projects
This is a hybrid position, with a combination of remote working and client-site attendance. Candidates should be willing to travel to client locations in London and Corsham when required. Onsite attendance is typically between 2–4 days per week, depending on project requirements and programme leadership expectations.
