We are hiring a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join the team and be responsible for helping with the design and development of their multi cloud environment security architectures, AWS, Azure and GCP, safeguarding critical business data and assets. The role involves developing and reviewing cloud security architectures, advising on risk mitigation, and enhancing the organization’s security posture. The Senior Engineer will act as a subject matter expert (SME) for high-visibility cloud security initiatives, applying expertise in cloud security best practices and incident response.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a senior SME for high-visibility cloud security initiatives.
- Design, develop, and review public cloud security architectures.
- Apply deep cybersecurity knowledge to identify and mitigate risks in emerging cloud platforms and improve the organization's security posture.
- Lead incident response efforts and maintain expertise in cloud adversarial threats, tactics, and procedures.
- Collaborate with engineering and development teams to integrate appropriate security technologies.
- Architect and communicate security solutions to ensure secure and efficient cloud environments.
Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience with a multi cloud environment and cloud security best practices, with a particular focus on AWS.
- Expertise in cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and incident response methodologies.
- Hands-on knowledge of AWS services (e.g., S3, EC2, Lambda, VPC) and native cloud security tools such as CloudTrail, GuardDuty.
- Experience in automation and processes pertaining to secure software development (Application Security), cloud based Event Management (SIEM) solutions.
- Agile methodologies and CI/CD security implementation.
- Relevant cloud or security certifications within AWS and/or CCSP, are highly desirable.
Note, this role is hybrid, 3 days in the office, flex on days, and 2 days from home. This role demands strong communication, collaboration, and technical skills to ensure a secure yet effective global cloud environment.
