My client, who are leaders in their field, are looking for a HR Oracle SME who will have a functional lead role with a focus on Oracle Fusion, particularly in the payroll and HCM modules. The client currently has Oracle EBS and wants to implement Fusion.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in key decision-making and analysis.
  • Ensure end-to-end process designs align with Oracle standards.
  • Provide expertise and oversight on service designs.
  • Ensure alignment with standard Oracle practices.
  • Work with business stakeholders to finalize design decisions.

Design Decision Support:

  • Help evaluate options for decisions like: Single payroll vs. multiple payrolls (e.g., officer vs. staff payroll).
  • Support process modelling activities over the summer.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Payroll, preferably Fusion (EBS experience acceptable).
  • Understanding of public sector payroll.
  • Technical understanding of Fusion configuration and integration - how it's built, how it works, and integrates with other modules.
  • Ability to advise on configurable choices and industry best practices, what is standard Oracle.
  • Strong business engagement and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business language.
