The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support two key model development initiatives under our PIM Expansion & Risk Modelling workstream:

  1. Re-platforming of the Credit Risk model, including establishing development controls and the environment.

  2. Re-platforming and consolidating the clients interest rate models into a single, unified model., * Work closely with stakeholders to define and agree on detailed business and technical requirements.

  • Prepare clear and comprehensive technical specifications to guide the re-platforming process.

  • Collaborate with the IT architecture team to design solutions and ensure alignment with technical requirements.

  • Define and document data requirements, ensuring clear data lineage is established.

  • Design and document new processes to support model re-platforming.

  • Develop testing strategies and plans to validate the successful implementation of new models.

  • Ensure all requirements are traceable to the testing plan and oversee the testing process.

  • Manage the business acceptance process for the new tools and models, ensuring alignment with business needs.

  • Experience: Strong background in delivering end-to-end re-platforming projects, particularly in actuarial models within the insurance industry. Experience collaborating with finance and actuarial teams is preferred.

  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with PIM and risk modelling is advantageous, though in-depth technical knowledge of the models themselves is not required.

  • Project Management: Experience in managing agile sprints, creating test strategies, and overseeing business-as-usual (BAU) acceptance processes.

  • Tools and Technologies: The current models are written in MatLab and Excel. The future solution will be based on Python, automated via Databricks on an Enterprise Data Platform.
