We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to provide support for a critical deliverable within the Capital Projections workstream:

Develop the capability to project and track the balance sheet on an SII (Solvency II) basis for a 10-year horizon., * Work with stakeholders to define and agree on detailed business and technical requirements.

Create clear and comprehensive technical specifications to guide the project.

Collaborate with the IT architecture team to design the overall solution and ensure alignment with technical requirements.

Define data requirements, ensuring clarity on data lineage and management.

Design and document new processes to support the capital projection capability.

Develop and execute testing strategies and plans to ensure successful implementation.

Ensure all requirements are traceable to the testing plan, and manage the testing process.

Oversee the business acceptance process for the new tool, ensuring it meets the business requirements and expectations.
Current and Future Tools:

The current solution integrates manually-run Prophet actuarial models, MatLab risk models, consolidation, and manual adjustments in Excel.

The future solution will be based on Python, automated via Databricks on an Enterprise Data Platform, with automation of Prophet actuarial models.

Experience: Proven experience working on complex solutions with phased and end-to-end delivery. Experience in the insurance industry working with finance and actuarial teams is ideal, but candidates with transferable skills from areas such as Asset Management are also welcome.

Capital Projections: Familiarity with capital projection concepts, including capital utilization modelling/management, understanding of capital-heavy businesses (eg, bulk operations, capital projections, capital deployment), is required. However, you do not need to be an expert in the technical aspects of modelling.

Solution Design: Strong ability to collaborate with architecture teams to progress and shape the solution design, ensuring it aligns with business needs and technical requirements.
