Role Overview
We are seeking a Director, Head of EMEA and APAC Class Actions to join our vibrant and growing Global Class Actions team. In this senior leadership role, you will drive sales growth, oversee client service delivery, and build relationships across the EMEA and APAC regions. As a key subject matter expert and people leader, you’ll advocate for clients through every stage of the class action process, ensure operational excellence, and help shape department strategy and thought leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a small team of Class Action subject matter experts (SMEs) responsible for our advocacy model and end-to-end service delivery.
Drive regional sales efforts by identifying new business opportunities and supporting account management to accelerate growth.
Own target revenue and profitability for EMEA and APAC clients, ensuring commercial objectives are achieved.
Oversee client onboarding and service delivery, consistently executing processes within agreed service level agreements (SLAs) and surpassing client expectations.
Build and strengthen trusted relationships with key market stakeholders, clients, and internal partners through ongoing meetings and strategic engagement.
Serve as a client advocate, maximizing claims outcomes, managing communications, and providing transparent, timely reporting throughout the class actions lifecycle.
Manage contract renewals, collaborating closely with Account Management to nurture and expand strategic client partnerships.
Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and elevate client satisfaction.
Work cross-functionally with other class action support teams to achieve business objectives and deliver integrated solutions.
Mentor, coach, and develop internal teams, setting a high standard in best practices, subject matter expertise, and client engagement.
Represent Broadridge at industry conferences and events, leading department initiatives, and actively contributing to strategic planning, marketing activities, and thought leadership projects.
Requirements:
15+ years of deep subject matter expertise in global class actions, preferably within EMEA and/or APAC markets.
Demonstrated experience in sales, client service, and project management with a proven record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
Comprehensive understanding of securities class action plan of allocations, deficiency and audit processes, and securities trading (equity, debt, derivatives).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation and public speaking abilities.
Detail-oriented with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Strategic mindset, proactive collaborator, and reliable mentor committed to driving both team and organizational success.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, law, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Robust experience in client-facing roles or subject matter expertise in global class actions and financial markets.
- Demonstrated leadership and capability to manage complex client and project portfolios regionally.
