Are you eager to kickstart your career while making a real difference? Ready to join a dynamic team dedicated to high-quality workmanship? We are currently looking for an Electrical Apprentice to join our busy team in the Vale and Valleys Area!
As our Electrical Apprentice, you will assist in a wide range of electrical works, inclusive of reactive repairs, empty property repairs, planned and cyclical maintenance, and various associated tasks within the Association’s properties. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality, right-first-time repairs to maintain homes to the highest standards. You will be supported through structured training to help you develop your expertise and transform into a key player in our Maintenance Team.
Hours of Work: 40 Hours
Electrical Apprentice Requirements
- Completed a minimum of 1 year and a maximum of 2 years of electrical qualification.
- Some onsite experience in electrical installation.
- Keen interest in the construction industry.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and team-working skills.
- A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle daily.
Electrical Apprentice Benefits
- Salary: £15,704 to £25,396 (depending on experience)
- TRAINING – Funding and support for you to attain your Electrical qualifications.
- HOLIDAYS – 24 days annual leave, increasing to 28 days, plus bank holidays.
- SICK PAY – 1 month full pay plus 1 month half pay (after probation).
- PENSION – We will match your contribution, up to 8%.
