About the Role
The Senior Client Partnership Manager’s primary role is to support commercial growth through strategic sales and operational excellence in our international markets. In this position, you will work closely with our RVP of EMEA to nurture and grow our most important clients in the EMEA region (e.g., Google, Siemens, ARM, Miro, BP, McKinsey, BCG, Checkout). You must have a passion for both sales strategy and execution as well as research ideation and analysis.
In this role, you will:
- Own a top notch client book with full revenue ownership, identifying upselling and cross selling opportunities in existing client relationships.
- Develop strategic account plans to increase our footprint within client organizations in EMEA based on industry, research, and commercial expertise.
- Establish account management best practices (including pricing strategies and growth levers) to maximize win rates, re-engage dormant accounts, and expand footprint.
- Understand client needs and challenges, and own client relationships (ranging from Manager-level to C-Suite) to ensure continued engagement, success, and retention. Be a 'Trusted Advisor' who anticipates business priorities and delivers tailored solutions.
- Leverage cross-functional relationships with NewtonX teams to bring the best of NewtonX to clients – e.g., Marketing leadership to get the best content into the hands of clients, Product to help clients best utilize our proprietary platforms and tools.
- Manage end-to-end contracts ranging from $10k to $500k+, from initial receipt, to research proposal formulation, to pitching and negotiations, to contracting.
- Apply research expertise to design innovative and comprehensive proposals that meet client research needs. Articulate how NewtonX value proposition resonates with the client problem.
- Help design and develop scalable processes and tools that make the team more effective in driving growth and reducing cost of customer acquisition and retention.
- Mentor junior client partnership associates, creating development opportunities for the team, and nurturing a non-hierarchical, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
What you have:
- 6+ years of experience in a research, professional services, and/or management consulting environment, with proven track record of end-to-end project delivery.
- 3+ years of experience working with external clients in a relationship-building, account management, project management, and/or commercial capacity.
- Demonstrated executive presence and business acumen; excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven experience in business development, account planning, and sales forecasting and tracking.
- Top-notch organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong sense of ownership to independently drive high quality deliverables and outputs.
- Natural curiosity and a desire to learn and be coached.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Right to work in the UK (we do not offer visa sponsorship).
