Role:
Reporting to the Business Development Director, this position is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, maximizing conversion rates and developing client relations. A strong understanding of the industry is desirable but not essential.
Main responsibilities:
New Business Opportunities:
- Identify new customer opportunities
- Proactively identify new market opportunities
- Develop tender documents specific to the customers need
- Produce cost proposals bespoke to the development
- Pitching sales to new customers (during and out-with standard work hours)
Sales Funnel:
- Convert targeted sales pipeline
- Build, develop and manage sales pipeline through CRM system
Client Relations:
- Maintain and develop current client relationships
- Networking with clients to build on relationships
Record Keeping
- Ensure CRM records are up to date and accurate
KPI’s:
- Sales conversion rate
- Total income generated (% deliveryvs target).
Specific skills, capabilities & requirements:
- Previous experience in a sales-based role
- Proactive & enthusiastic about sourcing and converting sales
- Strong communicator & presenter
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Willing to travel
- Willing to attend events out of office hours
- Proficient using Office 365
- Ability to work to targets
- Works well under pressure
- Excellent customer service skills
