Role:

Reporting to the Business Development Director, this position is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, maximizing conversion rates and developing client relations. A strong understanding of the industry is desirable but not essential.

Main responsibilities:

New Business Opportunities:

  • Identify new customer opportunities
  • Proactively identify new market opportunities
  • Develop tender documents specific to the customers need
  • Produce cost proposals bespoke to the development
  • Pitching sales to new customers (during and out-with standard work hours)

Sales Funnel:

  • Convert targeted sales pipeline
  • Build, develop and manage sales pipeline through CRM system

Client Relations:

  • Maintain and develop current client relationships
  • Networking with clients to build on relationships

Record Keeping

  • Ensure CRM records are up to date and accurate

KPI’s:

  • Sales conversion rate
  • Total income generated (% deliveryvs target).

Specific skills, capabilities & requirements:

  • Previous experience in a sales-based role
  • Proactive & enthusiastic about sourcing and converting sales
  • Strong communicator & presenter
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Willing to travel
  • Willing to attend events out of office hours
  • Proficient using Office 365
  • Ability to work to targets
  • Works well under pressure
  • Excellent customer service skills
