About the Role
As a Graduate Consultant, you'll work on exciting projects and challenges in a supportive team. Right from the start, we're here to help you become an outstanding consultant by harnessing your skills and empowering you to make real change. You'll make a meaningful impact, going as deep as it takes to help our clients tackle some of the most complex challenges they face. You’ll work on-site helping high-profile clients deliver real-world change such as improving NHS patient outcomes, accelerating supply chains in Chicago, improving process efficiencies in Australia or enabling an energy company to light up the nation. You'll work throughout the UK, with potential opportunities to work internationally, partnering with exceptional people from a diverse range of backgrounds. You'll collaborate with talented people both inside and outside our team. Together, you'll analyse data, find important opportunities, and create and implement unexpected but effective solutions.
The Key Details
Location: Client site based. Induction and training take place at our Head Office in Oxfordshire, but you can live anywhere in the UK.

Salary: £48,000 + £2,500 joining bonus

The role
Upon starting with us, you'll join our induction programme, designed to equip you with all the knowledge and tools you need to thrive. You'll then be immediately empowered, joining one of our project teams and putting your learnings into real-world practice. The first few years look very similar for all consultants and are crucial for building the fundamentals of consulting and the Newton methodology. All our consultants need to possess this core Operations Consultant skillset to thrive regardless of which career pathway you go down while at Newton. On a day-to-day basis, our Operations consultants work hand-in-hand with a variety of clients, mapping processes and analysing data to identify opportunities for operational improvement. They then plan and implement the changes needed to solve those challenges and create long-term improvements. Working on-site, from the shop floor to the boardroom, and everywhere in between. Once they spot the best chances for improvement, they dive right in – creating and implementing project plans that deliver and continue to do so long after we’ve gone. Every mission and every client is different, but our model of work doesn’t change.
