Senior Mechatronics Engineer - Cambridge - Medical Devices A leading medical devices organisation in Cambridge is expanding its development team and is seeking a highly capable Senior Mechatronics Engineer to drive the creation of new, life changing technologies. You ll work closely with mechanical engineers, physicists, electronics engineers and other specialists to design and develop complex medical devices that improve and save lives. This is hands on, multidisciplinary engineering at its best. We re ideally looking for someone with experience in the medical devices sector, but we re also open to candidates from other highly regulated, technically demanding environments such as biotechnology, life sciences or healthcare technology. Strong machine design capability is essential. You ll be confident with CAD, prototyping and building functional mechanisms. The project portfolio spans multiple medical specialisms. While some work will involve surgical robotics, this role is not suited to someone who wants to focus exclusively on robotics - you ll thrive here if you enjoy variety, switching between different device types and engineering challenges.
