Senior Mechanical Engineer – Fluidic Systems Newton Colmore is working with a leading technology innovator in Cambridge, and we are looking for a senior mechanical engineer who understands fluidics, thermodynamics and heat transfer. This exciting new role will give the Mechanical Engineer an excellent opportunity to work on novel products that span multiple industrial applications. You will hold responsibility for the design and development of new ideas, from initial concept through to manufacture. You will be evaluating new ideas using evidence from modelling or experimentally obtained evidence and will be working on system and component-level elements. You will then test and verify your ideas and work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure manufacturability throughout every step of the design process. You will be brining with you a passion for mechanical engineering and solving problems, coupled with strong academics. A detailed understanding of using maths and physics within the fields of fluidics and thermodynamics is vitally important for this position.
