A growing biotech company in Oxfordshire is seeking their first Sales Director to lead and expand their commercial efforts. This biotechnology firm has developed innovative instruments and technologies to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and performance in biomedicine. They are now looking for a Sales Director to help achieve their commercial objectives and develop new sales strategies.
As the Sales Director, you will be responsible for designing and implementing sales strategies to establish and grow the company's market presence globally. You will also build and manage the distribution network across multiple territories. Initially reporting directly to the CEO, there is potential for this role to evolve into a C-suite position based on your success. There is also scope to recruit, build, and lead a sales team across Europe and the US.
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Experience in scientific instrumentation and systems sales, ideally within cell biology.
- A degree in a life sciences subject, with an understanding of strategic and relationship selling approaches.
