Principal Mechanical Design Engineer – Medical Devices – Cambridge A growing Medical Devices team, based in Cambridge, is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the development of cutting-edge Medical Devices in the fields of Health Technology, Biotech, and Wearable Tech. Responsibilities Lead the development of cutting‑edge Medical Devices in Health Technology, Biotech, and Wearable Tech. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Industrial Designers, Electronics Engineers, Physicists, Software Engineers, and Scientists. Take the lead on projects as required for a principal‑level design engineer role. Ensure devices are developed to ISO 13485 standards and successfully reach the market. Qualifications Proven track record of developing Medical Devices to ISO 13485 standards that have successfully reached market. Degree in a relevant field that led into Mechanical Design or the Medical Devices industry. Experience inventing and designing Medical Devices across various sectors.
