Senior Simulation Engineer - Systems Engineering
Newton Colmore is working with an instrumentation manufacturer in Cambridge, and we are assisting them in their search for a senior simulation engineer.
This is an exciting period of growth for this company, that work on several different product lines, from state-of-the-art airport scanning technology to top secret RADAR systems.
You will be aiming to build and test physics-based models at the edge of what's possible
What you will be doing.
You will model and analyse complex systems using MATLAB/Simulink, working alongside a multidisciplinary team of scientists, engineers, and designers.
This isn't incremental work - you'll be applying deep engineering fundamentals to problems that directly impact people's lives.
What you can bring.
You will need to have strong domain knowledge of MATALB and Simulink, ideally applied to systems engineering.
This will need to include physics-based modelling and model-based systems engineering, with test bench development and code revision.
You will need to be naturally curious, adaptable, and any knowledge of signal processing or Simulink HDL would be highly desirable.
