A leading developer of highly complex sensing instruments for the defence industry, based in Cambridge, are looking for senior physicists to join their research and development teams.
Because of the nature of the work and the culture of the business we are looking for people who love solving complex engineering problems and who have a passion for physics.
As a principal experimental physicist within this organisation, you will be working on highly complex systems and instruments that aim to protect people's lives. You will take responsibility for the complete design process, taking your ideas from eureka moment and initial concept through to manufacturing. This will include initial invention and ideation, analysis, and computational modelling through to prototype design.
