Newton Colmore is working with a leading technology innovator in Cambridge, and we are looking for an experienced electronics engineer to join their research and development team.
Responsibilities
- Design and development of new ideas from concept through to manufacture, taking work through the full product life cycle.
- Capture, design, document, test, and deliver through to prototype production using the company’s rapid approach to design and implementation.
- Work on complex instrumentation and devices for defence and security industries, including advanced communications and satellite technology, RADAR systems and diagnostics and detection technologies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to bring electronics solutions from concept to production.
Qualifications
- Strong academics with passion for electronics and problem solving.
- Experience with toolchains such as Vivado or Quartus.
- HDL language experience (VHDL or SystemVerilog).
- Experience running simulations and testbenches and performing hardware-level debugging.
- Ability to work through hardware design challenges and deliver tested solutions.
- UK security clearance is required to be considered for this opportunity.
