We are assisting an instrumentation manufacturer in Cambridge in their search for a senior simulation engineer. This is an exciting period of growth for the company, that works on several different product lines, from state-of-the-art airport scanning technology to top secret RADAR systems.

Responsibilities

  • You will model and analyse complex systems using MATLAB/Simulink, working alongside a multidisciplinary team of scientists, engineers, and designers.
  • You will build and test physics-based models at the edge of what's possible.
  • This isn't incremental work – you'll be applying deep engineering fundamentals to problems that directly impact people's lives.

Qualifications

  • Strong domain knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink, ideally applied to systems engineering.
  • Physics-based modelling and model-based systems engineering, with test bench development and code revision.
  • Naturally curious, adaptable, and any knowledge of signal processing or Simulink HDL would be highly desirable.
