A leading inventor of Medical Devices are looking for an experienced Physicist who has successfully developed a number of complex Medical Devices.
Based in Cambridge, you will be working alongside other physicists, electronics engineers, mechanical engineers and other medical devices industry experts to invent lifesaving and life-improving technologies.
The Medical Devices you will develop will be across different medical technologies, so past industry experience in any of the following will be useful β Medical Imaging, Surgical Systems, Electro-Medical, Medical Instrumentation, Robotics, Machine Learning, Medical Diagnostics and other complex Medical Devices.
You do not need to have worked in all of these, but the more fields the better when you have successfully brought a product to market.
Working in industry is essential with this role, so ideally you will have been within a commercial organisation for at least a couple of years since leaving University.
The only exception would be if you were working as a consultant to Medical Devices Companies while you were completing a Ph D or during a post-doc role.
