A growing Medical Devices company, based just outside Cambridge, are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to help with the development of their new Medical Device.

You will be working within a team of engineering experts including physicists, electronics engineers, scientists and other Medical Devices specialists.

Ideally, your past mechanical design work would have been using Solid Works, however other 3D CAD tools will be acceptable.

This company spun-out from another leading Medical Devices organisation, so has the financial backing to succeed.

This also means you have guaranteed job security.

You’ll be a key member of the team in concept development, and we are happy for your Medical Devices experience to have been developing product or instrumentation.

We are also happy to consider someone from a life-sciences sector also, due to the high regulations you would have been working to.

It is expected that you would hold a degree within a subject that led you into becoming a Mechanical Design Engineer.

However, this is not essential if you have the experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer in the Medical Devices sector.

You will be rewarded with an excellent starting salary, bonus, high pension, life assurance and other excellent benefits you would normally expect with a larger organisation.

It is a great chance to join a growing company early in their development, hopefully leading to career development for you as they grow.

Due to this I expect a lot of interest, so if you are interested, I suggest applying now or risk missing out.
