Newton Colmore Consulting are partnered with a leading medical devices company in rural Cambridgeshire who are looking for an experienced medical technology development engineer.
This exciting new role will give you the opportunity to use your experience to come up creative solutions to engineering problems then going on to complete theoretical analysis and technical development of the invention.
As a Senior Development Engineer, you will be working on highly complex medical devices, from initial concept stages through to validation and testing. You will be charged with driving the generation and detailed development of innovative concepts as well as mentoring the next generation of engineers and scientists. After completing your analysis and testing you will then be reporting your findings back to senior members within the business where together you will draw meaningful conclusions from your findings.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have commercial experience within the medical devices sector, ideally from a mechanical engineering, bioengineering of physics background. You will need strong knowledge of engineering and physical principles as well as excellent pen-and-paper mathematic skills.
