Programme Manager – Medical Device Development
Newton Colmore is working with a leading medical devices company based in Cambridgeshire and we are assisting them in their search for a R&D programme manager.
This exciting new role will give the programme manager an opportunity to help shape the company’s research programmes, from initial concept, through to manufacturing and beyond. You will be leading a team of engineers that work on a technology that is at the intersection of electronics, mechanical engineering, software engineering, and science. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be utilising both your mechanical engineering and systems engineering experience daily.
You will be taking programmatic lead on a variety of different challenges; from understanding the commercial aspects of the technology and scoping markets, through to managing multiple stakeholders and suppliers, seamlessly weaving together different teams and companies on highly complex engineering projects.
To be considered for this exciting role you will need to have significant experience with leading research projects and programmes, coupled with strong academics and fundamentals in mechanical engineering. Medical devices experience is vital, and we are open on the type of device you have worked on, from smart implants to drug delivery systems.
