They are now looking for a creative and proactive Digital and Content Marketing Executive to join their small but ambitious team.

The Role.As the Digital and Content Marketing Executive, you\'ll support the planning, creation and delivery of engaging digital campaigns and content across multiple platforms. Youll help promote the sport to new and existing audiences, support race meetings and stakeholders, and contribute to the evolution of their digital presence, including the rollout of a new website and brand identity. You will be involved in:

  • Content Creation:
    • Produce engaging and high-quality digital content (social posts, videos, blogs, reels, infographics) tailored to different audiences (racegoers, owners, riders, families, etc.).
    • Assist in creating seasonal and event-specific content plans.
    • Support the development of video content, race day highlights and blue mic interviews.
  • Social Media Management:
    • Help manage and grow the GB Pointing social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, YouTube).
    • Monitor trends and contribute creative ideas to increase engagement and reach.
    • Schedule and publish posts.
  • Website & Email Marketing:
    • Assist in updating and maintaining content on the new website (WordPress).
    • Write articles to feature on the website.
    • Help develop and deliver email newsletters and stakeholder communications.
  • Campaign & Event Support:
    • Support integrated digital campaigns and seasonal education initiatives.
    • Assist fixture and area secretaries with digital promotion resources and content templates.
  • Analytics & Reporting:
    • Track and report on digital campaign performance across platforms.
    • Suggest improvements and optimisations based on data insights.

PWhat are we looking for?

Essential:

  • Marketing Graduate with around 12 months experience in a marketing, content or digital comms role.
  • Strong writing and copy-editing skills.
  • Proficiency in using major social media platforms and tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Canva, CapCut).
  • Familiarity with website CMS (e.g., WordPress) and email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp).
  • Ability to shoot and edit basic video content (Reels, Shorts, etc.).
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A self-starter with enthusiasm for rural sport and countryside culture.

Desirable:

  • Experience working in sport, equestrian or rural/agricultural events.
  • Knowledge of the point-to-point or horse racing industry.
  • Basic graphic design skills and video editing experience (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe tools).
