Hospitality Team Member (Casual)

Do you enjoy meeting people and providing excellent customer service? We're looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our Hospitality Team at Newton Abbot Racecourse. As a Hospitality Team Member, you'll play an important role in delivering an exceptional experience for owners, sponsors and racegoers at our exciting race meetings and events throughout the year.

You'll work across our hospitality boxes and/or one of our restaurants, helping to prepare service areas before guests arrive and delivering first‑class food and beverage service throughout the day. Every raceday is different, making this a varied and rewarding role. • Preparing hospitality boxes and restaurant service areas ahead of race meetings and events, ensuring they are fully set up and presented to the highest standard before guests arrive.
• Welcoming guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Serving food and drinks throughout the day.
• Looking after guests in one of our hospitality boxes or restaurants, ensuring they receive outstanding service throughout their visit.
• Setting and clearing tables while maintaining excellent presentation.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation and attention to detail.
• Working as part of a supportive and professional team to deliver an exceptional hospitality experience.

• A positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
• A friendly, approachable and professional manner.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team.
• A willingness to learn and work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Previous hospitality experience is welcomed but not essential, as full training will be provided.
