An excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a large, complex organisation in a hands-on financial reporting and controls based role. Working closely with the UK Financial Reporting Manager, International Finance teams, Finance Business Partners and External Auditors, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity and timeliness of financial reporting across a complex, multi-entity environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting monthly financial close and management reporting
- Maintaining balance sheet integrity and reviewing key reconciliations
- Managing inter-company accounting across UK and international entities
- Fixed asset and capital accounting
- Preparing statutory accounts and supporting year-end audits
- VAT accounting and returns
- Supporting corporate tax and Pillar II accounting
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems and controls
Qualifications:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Relevant post-qualified experience within a large, complex organisation
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP/IFRS and statutory reporting
- Experience working across multiple entities and currencies
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence handling large data sets
- SAP experience highly desirable
- Experience in an LLP environment would be advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
