An excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a large, complex organisation in a hands-on financial reporting and controls based role. Working closely with the UK Financial Reporting Manager, International Finance teams, Finance Business Partners and External Auditors, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity and timeliness of financial reporting across a complex, multi-entity environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting monthly financial close and management reporting
  • Maintaining balance sheet integrity and reviewing key reconciliations
  • Managing inter-company accounting across UK and international entities
  • Fixed asset and capital accounting
  • Preparing statutory accounts and supporting year-end audits
  • VAT accounting and returns
  • Supporting corporate tax and Pillar II accounting
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems and controls

Qualifications:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
  • Relevant post-qualified experience within a large, complex organisation
  • Strong knowledge of UK GAAP/IFRS and statutory reporting
  • Experience working across multiple entities and currencies
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence handling large data sets
  • SAP experience highly desirable
  • Experience in an LLP environment would be advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
