We are working with a complex, international Group that places strong emphasis on collaboration, high performance and investing in its people. This contract opportunity sits within a central business services function supporting senior stakeholders across the organisation.
We are looking for an experienced Finance Analyst with strong business partnering capability to provide critical support across cost control, budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis.
The Role
Reporting into a Finance Business Partner, you will take ownership of cost allocation and recharge models across business services and central functions covering a circa Β£80m spend. This role offers excellent exposure to senior stakeholders and complex cost structures particularly across IT and project expenditure.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, own and enhance cost allocation and recharge models, with a primary focus on IT spend
- Ensure all project and business services costs are accurately allocated, budgeted and charged to the correct departments
- Support budgeting and forecasting cycles for Business Services
- Prepare and post month end journals and assist with monthly management accounts to strict deadlines
- Deliver variance analysis and respond to departmental finance queries
- Review costs with Project Managers and Department Heads
- Support the Finance Business Partner with commercial and investment analysis
- Identify opportunities to improve month-end, budgeting and forecasting processes
About You
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA)
- Relevant experience in Management Accounts / FP&A
- Strong business partnering and stakeholder engagement skills
- Advanced Excel capability, including complex analytical and financial models
- Able to work at pace and meet tight deadlines
- High attention to detail with a strong commercial mindset
- Confident communicator with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
