Finance Transformation Manager (6-12 Months Contract)

Location: London (Hybrid Working - 2 days onsite)

Type: Interim/Contract/INSIDE IR35

Salary: £750-£850 per day

We're looking for an experienced and commercially minded Finance Transformation Manager to join a Transformation Office on a contract/interim basis. This is a high-impact, strategic contract role where you'll be at the heart of critical change programmes.

You'll take full ownership of tracking savings, analysing performance and ensuring that the financial impact of large-scale transformation initiatives is clearly understood across the business. Your insights will guide executive decision-making and help shape the financial success of a complex, cross-functional programme.

What you'll do:

  • Track and report financial benefits delivery across multiple workstreams
  • Monitor and analyse actual savings against addressable cost baselines and forecasts
  • Identify key financial trends, risks, and opportunities to support timely intervention
  • Challenge initiative metrics and improve financial robustness of transformation plans
  • Lead forecasting and scenario planning for programme costs, savings, and benefits
  • Provide clear, concise financial insight to senior leaders and programme stakeholders
  • Ensure sound financial governance and compliance throughout all transformation activity

What we're looking for:

  • A fully qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)
  • Strong background in financial leadership, with at least 3–5 years in senior roles supporting transformation or change programmes ideally within the insurance sector
  • Proven experience in financial modelling, forecasting, tracking benefits, and managing financial risk in a large, complex environment
  • A confident communicator able to translate financial data into actionable insight
  • A critical thinker with a strategic mindset and hands-on approach
