Finance Analyst – Manufacturing
Permanent, North London, Hybrid Working (2 days per week from home)
Are you a proactive and detail-oriented graduate looking to make a real impact? This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced Manufacturing/FMCG business as a Finance Analyst, where you will play a key role in driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making.
What you will be doing:
- Analyse weekly production, sales, and labour data, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Develop and maintain KPI dashboards to track progress against quarterly targets.
- Partner with Operational teams to assess customer profitability and identify margin improvement opportunities.
- Produce weekly stock variance reports and work with cross-functional teams to reduce discrepancies.
- Collaborate with teams to deliver accurate quarterly labour forecasts aligned with production and sales plans.
- Lead the preparation of the monthly Board Report, consolidating input from all departments and presenting business performance.
What we are looking for:
- Strong academic record of achievement with a numerate degree (Maths, Sciences, Accountancy).
- Looking to study CIMA or ACCA.
- Some work experience ideally within either the FMCG or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and deliver meaningful insights.
- Advanced Excel skills are essential, with Power BI experience being a plus.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
