About the Role:
This position is centred on new business acquisition across the soft services FM sector including cleaning, security and front of house solutions. You will take ownership of the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation through to tendering, negotiation and contract close. The role requires a proactive hands on sales professional who thrives in a high performance environment and is motivated by building and converting a strong commercial pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and secure new B2B opportunities across target sectors
- Lead the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract award
- Build and manage a robust pipeline with accurate forecasting
- Develop client relationships and lead meetings, presentations and negotiations
- Support preparation of PQQs, RFQs and RFPs with internal bid teams
- Contribute to pricing strategy, margin management and commercial proposals
- Represent the business at networking events and industry forums
- Drive cross sell and upsell opportunities within key accounts
- Support junior colleagues and contribute to wider sales strategy
About You:
- Proven success in B2B business development within soft services FM cleaning, security, front of house essential
- Strong track record of winning new business and closing contracts
- Experience across the full sales cycle including tendering and negotiation
- Commercially astute with strong pricing, margin and forecasting capability
- Confident engaging stakeholders across corporate, commercial property or public sector environments
- Highly ambitious, target driven and motivated by progression to director level
