We're looking for a skilled and motivated Power BI Developer to join a dynamic, global business on a 12 months interim contract. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with advanced Power BI expertise and a background in financial planning and analysis to make a real impact in a data focused and commercially driven environment.
In this role, you'll support the FP&A team by delivering high quality data analysis, reports and dashboards that inform strategic decision making across the organisation. You will act as the go to expert for Power BI, helping to enhance how financial data is accessed, interpreted and used.
- Develop and maintain intuitive Power BI dashboards and reports that deliver actionable insight
- Build robust calculations using advanced DAX to support detailed financial analysis
- Use Power Query to extract, transform and load data from a range of sources
- Work closely with the FP&A team to understand reporting needs and deliver effective data solutions
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all outputs
- Provide guidance and support to team members on Power BI tools and best practice
- Respond to ad hoc requests and support wider analysis projects
Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field. Financial qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent is desirable. Proven ability in building Power BI dashboards and working with data visualisation. Comfortable working with large data sets and translating them into meaningful insight. Highly conversant with finance systems - Oracle and Excel Modeling would be an advantage.
