I’m working with an established business in the Worthing area that is looking to appoint a dynamic Finance Assistant to join its finance team.
This is a varied, hands on role offering exposure across sales ledger, credit control, cash management, expenses, payroll, reconciliations and month end - ideal for someone looking to broaden their experience and develop their career.
The role will include:
- Cashflow and bank balance updates
- Customer receipts and cashbook payments
- Sales ledger and credit control
- Weekly debtor reporting and customer statements
- Invoice discounting administration and reconciliations
- Customer account validation
- Staff expenses and credit cards
- Monthly payroll and pension processing
- Month end support
- Ad hoc financial analysis
- Supporting the wider finance team when required
What they're looking for:
- Previous finance/accounts experience
- Ideally studying towards an accounting qualification
- Strong attention to detail
- Good organisational and prioritisation skills
- Confident with Microsoft Office
- Proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop
- Experience of D365 Finance & Operations would be advantageous
