Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Performance
· Support the delivery operation to ensure all deadlines are met
· Monitor performance and escalate issues where needed
· Assist in resolving delivery issues and improving performance
Leadership & Team Support
· Support the management of Supervisors and driver teams
· Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training
· Carry out regular check-ins and support performance improvement
Operational Oversight
· Help ensure processes and policies are followed across all areas
· Support depot visits and operational checks
· Maintain clear communication with teams and management
Performance & Reporting
· Assist with reporting and tracking KPIs
· Support the resolution of operational issues within agreed timeframes
Cost & Resource Support
· Assist with payroll checks, overtime, and staffing levels
· Support efforts to control costs and reduce driver vacancies
Health, Safety & Compliance
· Support compliance across depots, vehicles, and teams
· Ensure standards are maintained and issues are escalated
