Hybrid Key Account Manager in Birmingham
Newstaff Employment is hiring an experienced Key Account Manager in Birmingham to join a successful and growing maintenance services company. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a dynamic role, building strong client relationships and driving sales across the fire and security sector.
Location: Birmingham (hybrid working, must live within commuting distance of central Birmingham)
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum + excellent commission structure + benefits
Working Hours: 9-day working fortnight
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage and convert your own sales pipeline across unrestricted industries and regions
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and support
- Promote and sell maintenance services and project solutions within the fire and security sector
- Provide tailored service and project proposals, including design and solution-based selling
- Work closely with the Group Sales Director to align strategy and performance
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for long-term growth
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in Key Account Management within the fire and security industry
- Strong track record of relationship management and client acquisition
- Confident in service and project-based selling and design
- High level of self-motivation with the ability to work independently
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience in product and service development is advantageous
