Level 3 Nursery Assistant to join a welcoming nursery team in St Albans. This temp-to-perm opportunity will allow you to support the daily care and development of young children in a nurturing environment.
As a Nursery Assistant, you will work closely with qualified staff to assist in delivering high-quality childcare and educational activities, ensuring children's safety and well-being at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising and engaging children in age-appropriate activities.
- Support the implementation of learning programs under the guidance of qualified practitioners.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Assist with daily routines including meal times, rest, and play.
Requirements
Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions.
- Passion for supporting the development and well-being of young children.
- Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
