Newstaff Milton Keynes has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Operative looking to take the next step in their career, or for an existing Warehouse Supervisor seeking a new challenge within a fast-paced distribution business based in Milton Keynes. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity with a growing company that values hard work, initiative, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking and packing customer orders
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Using internal computer systems to input customer details
- Printing labels and preparing shipments
- Chasing customer invoices and supporting administrative tasks
- Using pick sheets to accurately fulfil orders
- Pulling cages and preparing pallets for dispatch
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
- Supporting colleagues and assisting with day-to-day warehouse operations
- Helping to coordinate workflow and ensure operational efficiency
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have previous warehouse experience
- Have supervisory experience or be ready to progress into a supervisory role
- Be confident using a PC and warehouse systems
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Have excellent organisational and communication skills
- Be proactive and able to think outside the box when solving problems
- Be reliable, hardworking, and willing to support other team members when required
