Newstaff Employment Services is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Administrator to join our fast-paced team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the logistics and supply chain processes to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services. As a Logistics Administrator, you will manage shipping schedules, track inventory, liaise with suppliers and transport companies, and maintain records to optimize efficiency in our logistics operations. Your contributions will be vital in providing exceptional service to our clients and supporting the overall operational effectiveness of the company. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor the logistics and shipping processes to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and shipments.
- Liaise with suppliers, transport companies, and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare shipping documentation and customs paperwork as required.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to logistics operations.
- Assist in maintaining and improving inventory management systems and processes.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Previous experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a similar administrative role.
- Strong understanding of logistics processes and inventory management.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics management software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good PC skills as most of this role is inputting into CRM system.
