Newstaff Employment Services is seeking a reliable and skilled Warehouse Operative with electrical skills and a valid driving license to join our team. This role involves general warehouse duties alongside tasks that utilize your electrical knowledge, ensuring efficient and safe warehouse operations. You may on occasion be asked to attend site for large installations.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a dynamic warehouse environment, capable of performing manual handling tasks, and able to assist with electrical-related duties as needed. A valid driving license is essential as the role may involve driving company vehicles for deliveries or site visits.
Key Responsibilities- Carrying out general warehouse duties including receiving, picking, packing, and dispatching goods.
- Utilizing electrical skills to assist with maintaining and troubleshooting electrical equipment within the warehouse.
- Driving company vehicles safely and responsibly as required.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards at all times.
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting any operational issues promptly.
- Collaborating effectively with team members to meet operational goals.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred, with knowledge or background in electrical work desirable.
- Valid driving license required; clean driving record is advantageous.
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and perform manual handling tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to health and safety protocol.
