Newstaff Employment Services is seeking a skilled and reliable MIG Welder to join our team in Hitchin. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MIG welding and be capable of working to high standards on a variety of metal fabrication projects. Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding tasks to fabricate, join, and repair metal components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints accurately.
- Ensure welds meet quality and safety standards.
- Carry out inspections and quality control on completed welds.
- Maintain and operate welding equipment safely and effectively.
- Work collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines and production targets.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a MIG Welder.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
