Warehouse Operative – Fixed nights
Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am (40 hours per week)
Newstaff Employment Services is excited to partner with the UK’s largest supplier to the independent Kitchen specialist sector. Established in and based in Newport Pagnell, the company is renowned for offering the best brands in kitchen furniture, appliances, sinks, taps, and ancillary kitchen products.
We are currently seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join their team on the fixed nights. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a reputable business that values quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unload and load goods received from suppliers and branch transfers.
- Accurately check the quantities and condition of stock, recording on paperwork.
- Store stock in the correct locations using a hand scanner.
- Pick products for customer orders and load them accordingly.
- Perform stock taking duties when required.
- Ensure the warehouse always remains clean and tidy.
- Maintain a high attention to detail and work efficiently and effectively.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Remain hard-working, polite, courteous, and professional always.
Requirements:
- Ability to maintain high attention to detail.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude.
- Hard-working and reliable with a proactive approach to work.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Able to lift, load, pick, and pack.
- Use a hand scanner.
- Get to and from Newport Pagnell using own transport due to location.
